What is Store credit, and how can I use it?

Store credit are credits provided by MariDeal that hold a specific value and can be used towards the purchase of eligible products and/or services offered by Merchant/s through the Site. These credits can be applied during the checkout to reduce the total cost of your purchase.

To use your store credit, simply follow these steps on the Site: select and book a deal. At checkout, You will have the option to apply your Store credit to offset the cost of the transaction. The value of the store credit can be deducted from the total amount, reducing the amount You need to pay.

How long is Store credit valid for?

Store credit issued by MariDeal has a validity period of one (1) year from the date of its issuance. This means that you have one (1) year to utilize your store credit for orders on the Site. It's important to note that once the validity period expires, the store credit   becomes invalid and may not be used.

We recommend keeping track of the expiration date of your store credit and ensuring that You make use of it within the designated timeframe. This will ensure that You maximize the benefits and value of your credits. It's important to acknowledge that MariDeal will not reinstate or extend the validity of any expired store credit.

Yes, it is possible to use store credit to make a purchase that exceeds its value. When You proceed to the checkout and apply your store credit, the total cost of your order will be deducted by the value of the store credit. You may then pay the difference using another acceptable payment method.

During checkout, You will review the final amount due after the deduction of the store credit.

What happens if the total value of my store credit exceeds the order amount?

If the total value of your store credit exceeds the order amount, any excess value will be credited to your "Store Credit Balance" on your Customer Account. This remaining credit can be utilized for future orders on the Site.

The excess value will be retained as part of your Store Credit Balance and can be applied towards subsequent transactions. This provides you with the convenience of using the remaining credit for future purchases, ensuring that you can make the most of your Store credit and maximize its value.

To access and view your Store Credit Balance, you can log in to your Customer Account on the Site. From there, you will be able to track the available credit and apply it towards eligible purchases whenever you desire.

What happens to my Store Credit Balance if my account is terminated, suspended, or marked as "Inactive"?

If your account is terminated, suspended, or marked as "Inactive" for any reason, please be aware that your Store Credit Balance will be automatically and irreversibly reset to zero. This means that any remaining credits or balance in your Store Credit Balance will be forfeited and cannot be recovered.
